My entire system mutes randomly and without touching any buttons, The voice Assistance not activated and that's not whatappears to be causing it. Are there any solutions? I have updated my system.

I’ve also been experiencing this issue with our Sonos speakers. Randomly during playback the speaker will stop playing and mute itself. We use our speakers as sound machines at night for ourselves and our kids, which makes this incredibly disruptive. Of course, everyone in the house is asleep when this occurs, so it’s not the accidental result of any manual actions. This occurred multiple times last night.
When this happens again, I plan to submit a diagnostic code. Hopefully Sonos support will be able to figure out why the system is muting itself.
More details:
- Devices: 1 Sonos One, 2 Sonos One SLs
- Playback configuration: 3 independent streams of a sound file from Plex

Are any SONOS units wired to the network? If a player is experiencing communication problems and runs out of data, it will mute. Capture a diagnostic within 10 minutes of an event, then follow up with phone support. Communication issues leave tracks in the diadnostic.

I was just about to post this, I only realised as I saw a green light on one of the speakers and didn’t have a clue what that was!
Mine has been doing it for the past few days, all 6 of my speakers are now showing as muted.

Hi
I’d like to look into this issue for you all. The next time you see a speaker/player mute itself, please submit a support diagnosticsoon after and let me know here when you have done so. Thanks.

Might be a tough ask to submit a support diagnostic soon after the muting... It's happening overnight. I just submitted mine, but it's probably a few hours after the incident.

Hi
As long as there hasn’t been much activity in the meantime, the relevant logs should still be easy enough to locate. Thanks!
Could you please let me know which room to look at?

Happening to me also as of yesterday. Happened twice yesterday on my era 100 but I didn't think much of it. Happened again today on an era 100 and then just now right in the middle of watching the England match on a beam. Each time volume mutes and speakers show green light, no buttons pressed and no apps open at the time. Something must have changed recently to cause this?

I just sent a diagnostic. This started happening to my 4 One SLs, 1 Arc and 1 beam (aka, my whole Sonos system) every night for the last couple of nights. All speakers mute sometime over night, which is frustrating because the one in the bedroom then blasts a mute light.

Same issue here, 3 out of my 4 zones automatically muted themselves overnight. Submitted a diagnostic (**********). This app rollout has been a real frustrating mess!

Same here. I'm having the trouble with the boost "disappearing" too.
Loved sonos but thinking of leaving. Listening to music shouldn't be this frustrating.

Same here…happened around three times now affecting all my speakers (except my Roam).
Their new app is rubbish too!!! SONOS need to get their act together…they’re supposed to be a ‘premium’ company?

Hi All
I have 3 pairs of Symfonisk speakers in my house and one Era 100. For the past few nights each morning when I go to play music nothing happens. It turns out that each night the volume gets set to 0 somehow. Overnight I can see a green ish LED on the Symfonisk speakers that goes away when I turn them up. I presume this means they are muted?
Ithappens to all the speakers in the house and is pretty annoying!
What can I do to prevent this?

Also been happening to mine these last few days. Wake up to every speaker being muted and green light showing.
Using the app is becoming more and more tedious. Slow responses, frequent drop outs, intermittent control ability. Might finally be time to look elsewhere.

I had this issue too for a few days (albeit for a subset of speakers in my system rather than whole system). But didn't have the issue this morning.

Happening over here too, but only on my two moves. Sadly they are in the bedroom and used for ambiance during the entire night.
Edit: happend in all the rooms, except the playbar (tv) and the kitchen (One SL).
