Crissman, 67, who worked for 30 years as personnel director for Cytemp Specialty Steel in Bridgeville and Titusville, Crawford County, died of cancer yesterday at Hamot Medical Center in Erie. Mr. Crissman of Chautauqua, N.Y., was born in Butler and was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.

He was in the Army Air Corps during World War II, serving in China. Following his discharge he worked for West Penn Power Co. for 10 years. He retired from Cytemp in 1985. He was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church in Shadyside, where he had served as a church elder, and the First Presbyterian Church of Titusville.

He was a member of the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville advisory board, and was on the boards of directors of the Titusville YMCA and the Venango County Area Vocational Technical School. He also was a member of the Masonic lodge of Homewood. Mr. Crissman is survived by his wife, Edna Schultz Crissman; two daughters, Susan Geralds of West Bloomfield, and Betsy Irwin of Titusville; a son, Thomas E. of Wooster Ohio; and four granddaughters.

Friends will be received at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington Titusville, from 7 to 9 tonight. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel of Third Presbyterian Church, Fifth and Negley avenues.

Burial will be in Homewood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. in 10 of Linda Kay Rosen The funeral for Linda Kay Rosen, 27, a psychiatric caseworker at St. Francis Medical Center who was shot and killed there Tuesday, was to be held this afternoon at Ralph Schugar Chapel, 5509 Centre Shadyside. Miss Rosen of Squirrel Hill worked at St.

Francis for years in case management with chronically mentally ill patients on an outpatient basis. She was a patient advocate in the medical and psychiatric emergency room, working with patients a and their families, protecting their rights and finding them temporary shelter. She also was involved in the admission of psychiatric patients. Miss Rosen performed volunteer work for the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force. She was a graduate of Falk School, Peabody High School and the University of Pittsburgh, where she majored in psychology.

Surviving are her mother, Gloria K. of Shadyside; a sister, Nina S. of Pittsburgh; and her maternal grandmother, Janet M. Kwasser of Pittsburgh. Burial will be in Temple Sinai Memorial Park, Plum.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force, 141 S. Highland Pittsburgh 15206, or to the Women's Center and Shelter, P.O. Box 9024, Pittsburgh 15224. George P. Petruney Funeral home director and former Verona Councilman George P.

Petruney, 64, died of liver failure yesterday at the Oakland Veterans Administration Hospital. Mr. Petruney owned and operated the George P. Petruney Funeral Home in Verona for 31 years. He also was a member of St.

Joseph Catholic Church, Verona, the Verona Eagles No. 1634, Oakmont Elks No. 1668 and CFU Lodge No. 602 of Verona. He served as a volunteer firefighter in Verona for 14 years and was a leader of Boy Scout Troop 139 at St.

Hazey Sister John Edward Hazey, who taught at schools in the Greensburg and Pittsburgh dioceses for 35 years, died of cancer yesterday in the Assumption Hall infirmary, Greensburg, Westmoreland County. Sister John Edward, 69, was born in Altoona and entered the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill, Greensburg, on Sept. 8, 1935. She taught intermediate grades in various schools in both dioceses, including St. John the Baptist in Scottdale, Westmoreland County, St.

Joseph in Mount Pleasant, Resurrection in Brookline, St. Anselm in Swissvale, St. Philip in Crafton, St. Therese in Munhall and St. Stephen in Hazelwood.

From 1971 until 1985, she taught music and art at McNelis Catholic School in Altoona, Blair County. Upon retiring, she continued to do volunteer work at McNelis School and in the Cathedral parish in Altoona. She had lived at Assumption Hall at Seton Hill since early 1987. Surviving are three sisters, Emeline and Elizabeth Hazey, both of Altoona, and Regina Stoltz of York; and two brothers, Joseph of Deming, N.M., and Arthur of Southgate, Mich.
