CENTRAL CENTRAL FLORIDA Ex-Publisher Dies at 79 In Sarasota SARASOTA (Special) Col. (Ret.) Sigurd J. Arnesen, 79, of 2155 Wood who died Sunday night, was noted as a publisher. He was publisher and owner of Nordisk Tidende, a Norwegian language newspaper in New York, from 1911 to 1957. He also was owner of Arnesen Press, until his retirement at the age of 70.

He had resided here for the past year. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Martha Arnesen; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Knutson, St. Paul, and Dr.

Ruth Qualben, Brooklyn; two sons, the Rev. Sigurd J. Arnesen, pastor of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church 1 here, and Dr. Paul Arnesen, Mankato, a sister, Mrs. Leonora Sjursen, Bradenton; a brother, John Arnesen, Bradenton, and 17 grandchildren.

MRS LENA SCIACCA BRADENTON Mrs. Lena Sciacca, 72, 4602 34th St. died Tuesday. A native of Italy, she lived in Bradenton for seven years. She was a Catholic.

He was born in Bowling Green and moved to this area 45 years ago. He was a veteran of World War and was in the citrus industry until his retirement. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Daisy Durrance; one daughter, Mrs. Homer Ford, Rev. McRae, 84, Dies At Apopka APOPKA The Rev. Lewis Earl McRae, 84, for 63 years a Baptist preacher in Florida, died Tuesday at his home at 34 E.

Oak St. following a heart attack. Born at Marple, N.C., he had made his home at Apopka for the past seven years, moving here from Dona Vista. He was licensed to preach at the age of 21, and was ordained at the First Baptist Church of Lake City. A graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, he also studied at Columbia University.

During his 63 years in the ministry, he baptized over 3,700 persons and performed over 000 weddings. He served churches in San Mateo, Pakatka, Fort McCoy, Dona Vista, Jacksonville, Beluah, Bradenton, Avon Park, Eureka, Green Cove Springs, Peniel, Oak Griner, Fairfield, Reddick and many other in the state. He was associated with the Southern Baptist Mission Board and served in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky. The father of 11 children all baptized by him, he also performed the marriage ceremony for nine. He and Mrs.

McRae celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 20, 1964 at the First Baptist Church of Apopka, and for the past several years his full-time ministry had been among the several thousand migrants in central Florida. He was a member of the Masons. Survivors include widow, Mrs. L.

Mr. Lively was one of the founders and a lay reader of the Church of St. John the Apostle Episcopal, attended Georgia Tech, was in the banking business for 30 years ard at the time of his death was president of the Florida First National Bank of Belle Glade. He was past president of the Belle Glade Chamber of Commerce, past exalted ruler of BPOE Lodge No. 1716; a veteran of World War II; a member of American Legion Post No.

MRS. MAUDE REWIS PORT RICHEY-Mrs. Maude A. Rewis, 78, of 230 Clark died yesterday. A native of Brooksville and resident here 46 years, she was a member of Hudson Church of God.

JAKLON VENICE Proehl H. Jaklon, 66, Gulf Manor Drive, died Tuesday. A winter visitor from Lake Forest, he and his wife had been coming here since 1952. He had been employed with the promotion department of the Chicago Tribune since 1929, and retired this year. He was an Episcopalian, a member of the Tavern Club of Chicago, Onwentsia Club of Lake Forest, and the Venice Yacht Club.

CLIFFORD MILLIKAN LEESBURG Clifford V. Millikan, 63, Leesburg, died Wednesday in a local hospital, Born in New Castle, he moved with his family to Leesburg from Tavares 35 years ago. He was an air conditioner and heating contractor. He was a member of the Christian Church and the Elks Lodge. Survivors include his widow, Mrs.
